From Idaho to Utah and now in California! (Aug 31- Sept 6)

This Sunday Brittany reported her mission in church. Again, we had lots of family (grandparents. aunts. uncles. cousins) around to spend our Sunday with. What I learned the most from Brittany's talk is that we need to trust God and try to understand what He wants us to do because miracles can happen in our life if we rely on him. She told a story of a little old drunk man that they would see all the time on the street. He seemed to not have much potential but my sister and her companion reached out to him anyway. He ended up being one of her best friends and a wonderful member of the church.

Family and Food

Devri and Corbin love to play ring around the rosies on the tramp.

Usually grain harvest is over by this time of year but not this year. Because of the unusual amounts of rain harvesting as been delayed. Because it has been delayed most of the grain is not good and can only be used for feed for animals. Before we left on Monday we went and rode on the grain combine with my dad...

We made it back home for a few days before we left on vacation in California! We have been to the beach and we are going to go to Disneyland!

We left on Friday evening and spent the night in St. George Friday night and traveled the rest of the way to California on Saturday. Devri was such a good little traveler as long as we keep her a little entertained...

So stay tuned to next day or so for pictures of our trip!

What a wonderful family time for all of your family! I'm so glad Devri gets so many experiences in her lifetime--from Idaho to Utah to California and back to Utah! We look forward to the next few days of fun for you and hope to see pictures soon!
