We made it down to sunny southern California we are having a great time with friends. We planned this trip with four other families and its been super awesome! We all arrived on Saturday (luckily). If you have been watching the news you will know that parts of I-15 closed on Monday due to heavy rain causing flooding making the pavement of the highway crumple. I'm so glad that we made it before the rain! Now lets hope its fixed soon so we came make it home without a huge detour!
We rented a house for us all to stay in within walking distance from disneyland. Kurt, Devri and I arrived at our rental house at 4:00 pm. We got settled, watched the BYU games and relaxed. Devri was busy in the backyard had a blast playing with all the fun kids toys...

The house we are staying in is awesome. There are lots of fun things for kids. A playhouse in the yard stocked with a kitchen set, books, ect. A pool with with floaty toys for kids and adults. We didn't have room to bring a playpen for Devri to sleep but they had three at the house. There are sand toys for the beach. The kitchen is stocked with spices and is fun to cook in.
Sunday we enjoyed our morning at the house and went to church. Devri made some new friends...

Sunday afternoon we went to Newport Beach.
Devri loved her first experience at the beach. She was a little afraid of the tide but she loved to play in the sand.
We came home a made and made a yummy Sunday dinner with all our are friends!
And played for hours...

Monday we woke up Kurt went with our friends (the Hulsbergs) to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. He loved it and has now been to 4 Presidential Libraries. He will have to post his own pictures. Devri and I went to Laguna Beach with the Welshs
