I feel so relieved and blessed that it happened so quickly this time. I was afraid and not looking forward to being in the whole "trying" and dealing with the emotions that come of months and months of hope and then let down. I was able to skip that part this time and for that I'm so so grateful.
We found out that I was pregnant on May 16th. During the phase of the first trimester brings so many emotions of absolute joy and wonder but also worry and teachings of patience. I feel blessed in that I have kept busy and time has gone by so fast. Its fun to now feel comfortable telling people the good news. Our baby is now 16 weeks old. Yesterday I felt him moving around for the first time. I love that!
Babies first picture at 9 weeks old. Just a lil bean...
Our baby at 13 weeks old (below)... I don't want to sound cheesy but I melted when I saw the screen of the ultrasound (the screen of the ultrasound is a little clearer then these images). Our baby is now visibly looks like a little human. The first thing I noticed is that I could see each vertebra of his spine. He's so cute!
Earlier this week I text my midwife and asked her if I could come in for just a few minutes to make sure that everything was still going ok. I felt a little silly asking but I just needed some reassurance. She was kind enough to have us come in and do another ultrasound.
Here is our baby at 16 weeks! Everything was well (our baby is very happy according to my midwife). After these ultrasounds my midwife said her best guess is that he is a boy! We are not going to do much announcing until we know for certain at our 20 week appointment. But I'm sure its a boy!

It's amazing how much we miss not seeing each other every Sunday. Yay for boys!
