Wednesday it was a cooler overcast day so we spend some time in our garden. We are apart of a community garden through Wasatch Community Gardens. It's fun that we are starting to harvest! We have lots of tomatoes (most of them are not ripe yet)! Devri loves to pick and eat them.

Friday we were going to go to Seven Peak's water park. I had 10 free admission ticket. We invited some friends in our ward and our nieces that babysit Devri. We were hoping and praying for no rain but about the time we planned to leave it got rainy, windy and cold. It was the only day that we could go before the passes expired so we were pretty sad. Instead Haylee, Lia, Devri and I went to a indoor pool in West Valley City that was really fun!

We definitely need to come to this pool this fall and winter when we get a swimming itch.
Saturday we spent the whole day in Ogden with Kurt's family! We went to the Ogden Temple open house. It was so beautiful. I loved the celestial room it was probably one of the most beautiful celestial rooms that I have seen. It was fun to take Devri into the temple I showed her all the pictures on the wall and talked to her about Jesus.
After the temple open house we went to a fish farm and caught some fish! All of Kurt's brothers and sister were there with their families and all Speechly cousins. Kurt's grandpa came too. This was Devri's first time experiencing fishing. She was really interested until she saw her uncle Chad and others catch a fish and then she was a little freaked out. She didn't want to touch the fishing pole so we had to do it for her. Kurt and I are not very good fishermen. It took forever to finally catch a fish.
After we caught our fish we went to Kurt's aunt and uncle's (Gayle and Craig) house and grilled our fish and ate some food. Devri always has fun with the Speechly cousins. They are super nice to her.

What a good week we had. We have lots to be grateful for even though life has its challenges.
Loves,
Alanna
