The Last 3 Weeks!

We got home from Lake Powell at 10:00 on a Friday night. The next day I drove up to Park City to work on my clients then came home and an hour later we left to go to my parents house in Idaho.

We arrived (before dark!).  Devri sitting on uncle Nathans lap. She sure likes him...

On Sunday the 27th Elder Nathan Polatis spoke in church to report his mission.  After he spoke we gathered at my parents house and had dinner with lots of family... aunts, uncles, cousin and friends!

Here is the only picture of the Day!
Our dad let this chicken rome the yard. We told my nephew that if he could catch the chicken he could eat it. He  was excited!

The next day (Monday) we were home and got to stay home all week. It rained a lot this week. Devri and I like to sit out on the balcony and watch the rain!
Glad to be back to life...

Devri thinks its fun to hold my hand while she is in her stroller

The next week was girls camp (Aug 5-8)! I am on the stake camp committee, so I went to girls camp Tuesday, Wednesday and came back Thursday morning.  Our theme was BUGS  acronym for Being Unified Gospel Sister. It was so fun to have BUGS as our theme and we came up with lots of cute ideas. The main theme of camp this year ended up being the rain but we still were able to do a lot of the activities and we didn't mind it too much

During devotional the first day we saw a rainbow!
My job at camp was to be over all the Youth Camp Leader! They are awesome. Aren't there sweatshirts so cute!
So awesome to get to know ladies in my stake!
On Wednesday night at girls camp was bishops night! I didn't have any Young Women in my ward that were able to come to camp. I was the only one in my ward at girls camp! My bishop still came up for me. I was so happy to see him...

I was so excited to see this little cutie too...

Tuesday night when I was not home she had a little breakdown. It made me feel good that she missed me so much!

As the stake camp leaders we were the Queen Bees! We are great performers too. Isn't Devri so cute?!
Lovin girls camp!
After the skits and fun we joined another ward for testimonies and s'mores around the campfire. We told everyone we were just going to join the ward that had the best looking dessert! Devri fell asleep in my arms by the campfire.

Devri and Kurt spent the night with me! As soon as we got back to the stake camp and to our tent late that night it started to pour rain, lightning and thunder. We got ready for bed and I had to walk to the bathrooms and brush my teeth alone in the dark while it was lightning and thundering and pouring rain. It was nice to finally be snuggled up in my sleeping bag next to Kurt and Devri.

The next morning we ate breakfast and went home!

Friday our friends invited us to the zoo!

Finally last week (August 10th-16th)  Sunday we napped...

and went to our cousins Colton and Amy's for dinner...
The kids played so cute together

The rest of the week we worked and played. I had a hair appointment we had a pretty laid back weekend.

We frequent the park by our house when its not too hot outside...

Till next time! I'm glad I'm caught up on the blog! Need to start working in this past week and I'll be back in the groove.

Loves, Alanna
