Finally Vacation at Lake Powell!

Yay Vacations are my favorite thing to write about. I don't know why it has taken me so long! :-) September 2nd - 7th we were invited to Lake Powell with Kurt's uncle Lyle and their family.

One of the greatest days was Sunday. It was nice to enjoying the sabbath in a beautiful location. This is a makeshift chapel. Uncle Lyle is a bishop so we took the sacrament and had a testimony meeting.

The next day was the day to head back home. Here Kurt is on the top deck with internet service finally watching the BYU game. Streaming it from our Tivo at home. Love him!


This trip was especially fun for me. Because I love to boat and my family raves about Lake Powell, but, the last time I was there I was this size in 1984.
Next time I'm not going to wait that many years to go back.

Thank you so much for the fun week! It was the perfect vacation to end the summer.
