Lavendar Days

Today we went to Mona, Utah for Lavendar Days at the Young Living Farm. Since Kurt now works at Young Livings we got to go for free! It was a super fun day and as you can see the Lavendar fields are so gourgous.

When we first got there we met up with Kurt's coworker/travel buddy Russ and his wife Mindee. Their daughter Melanie was having a lavendar tea party with the lavendar fairies. How fun! Melanie is the little girl in the white shirt and standing by the purple fairy.

Then they put him right to work. This is for some marketing the company doing. Thats why they hired him cause he is so dang handsome.
While we were there we got to make Lavendar wreaths. Now I have a summer door hanging! I am standing in front of the distillers. They are used to distill the plants to make essential oils.

After we made wreaths they had a jousting tornament. It was the owner of the company Gary Young against the CEO Doug Nelson. Yes with lances and everthing. It was pretty crazy. Maybe we don't want to get promoted it could be dangerous.

If you want some family fun go to Lavendar Days next year.
