Project Life and Conference Weekend in Sun Valley, Idaho (Sat Oct 4 - Mon, Oct 6)

In the past I have used a system called Project Life for my families photos and journaling. I love Project Life because its scrapbooking made simple. You can do it digitally of you can buy a kit and do it not digital. This past weekend I decided I wanted to get back in the groove and start doing Project Life again. Here is my first project for 2014. Enjoy!

I'm going to work with my web savvy husband to see if I can load the project life image so that you can click on it and be able to see a bigger image. For now if you want to see the image bigger you can hit Ctrl and + or - to zoom your screen in and out. When I print this to a 12x12 it looks so good and is easy to read. On the blog its not as convenient to read sorry!

Here are a couple of my favorite pages I've done in the past...

This one of for Kurts mom:)

I already loaded some images of the weekend on the blog before I decided to do Project Life. Here are some more pictures of Sun Valley!

Sloans Blessing and Elder Allen (Sunday, Sept 28, 2014)

We had a wonderful eventful Sunday.

In July we welcomed a new little niece and Devri has a new cousin, Sloan Ruby Francom...

Last Sunday was her blessing day. We attended Scott and Melissa's ward to witness the event. Sloan was so cute in her pretty white dress.

I could not resist snapping a picture of Norah and Devri coloring during sacrament meeting. So Cute...

Devri was really excited to go Faith's house after sacrament meeting to eat some lunch. Devri loved playing in Faith's room, she has really fun toys.
I caught Devri and Faith holding hands in the back yard

Friends!

Before we went to the blessing we went to sacrament meeting at our home ward. Because of my sister's mission welcome home, being in California, the Ogden Temple dedication, and next week being general conference we have missed being in our ward for quite a few Sundays. People were probably going to start wondering if the Bishop and his family were becoming inactive. :) We especially needed to go because our area seventy Elder Allen was going to be attending sacrament meeting. Elder Allen happened to be a former member and leader in Kurt's stake when we was growing up. He also saw Kurt's parents on their mission in Mongolia a couple weeks prior. He was one of the visiting authorities at their District Conference!

Such a small world!

It was a Happy Sunday!

A few pictures of the last couple of weeks!

We have been home from Disneyland for two weeks now. Time is moving along. I have been (mostly) busy with organizing the house to make room for baby Tace!

I feel like we got pictured out from our trip to Disneyland so we haven't taken very many pictures lately. But here are a few!

Lil miss Devri. Leg warmers and high heels

I had a appointment with my midwife and everything checked out good...

It's starting to get chilly so we are trying to take advantage of final days at the park before it gets freezing. Its just been this last week that we leave the house but don't make it to far before we turn back around to go back and grab a jacket!

One of the things that pleases Devri so much is to paint her nails. Its one of her most favorite thing to do...

Disneyland/California 2014 Part 6 (Saturday, Sept 13 - Monday, Sept 15)

We checked out of the house we were renting and started heading north towards home at 10:00am. We had only been driving for 20 mins when we saw signs for the Richard Nixon Presidential Library. I decided to be a really awesome wife and tell Kurt we should go. Since he took me to the beach twice he more than deserved it! We made a impromptu visit...

A piece of the Berlin Wall

We spent a couple hours then got back on the road. Today we were traveling to Las Vegas to spend the evening and stay with Kurts Aunt Jan!

Devri kept busy while we traveled. She tried to change her dolls diaper...

Chillin at Aunt Jans

She was so ready for bed even though she had a long nap in the car. She had had a fun and busy week!

Sunday we went to church with Jan and spent the day then headed north again! We stayed in St George Sunday night. I had a dentist appointment in St George Monday afternoon. Monday morning Kurt went and found a place to get some work done and Devri and I walked to the St. George Temple. There was still lots of water flowing down the streets from all the flooding that they had had...

Devri knew exactly who the Statue was of. I was very impressed.

Totally posing

The dentist office had such a fun place for kids to play...

We  headed back north and finally made it home! Good to be home.
